Puerto Morelos , Riviera
Maya, Mexico

jewel of Caribbean Mayan Riviera on the coast of Mexico. It is a place
that combines a fishing tradition with a boom of tourism.
In this town all the life is slower and
prices are lower than on other parts of the Riviera. There is a small
town square in the centre with few shops, restaurants and a dive shop.
Not far from there is a nice rustic beach with a beautiful view of
Caribbean, small fishing boats on the sand. The main tourists interest
are the lighthouse and the main fishing pier. Locals are friendly and
you can find many good photo opportunities in the area. One of other
attractions is an boat excursion to the reefs.
This resort is a combination of hotels,
cabanas and modest homes. Lodgings range from luxury air conditioned
hotels with meals, spa services, swimming pools and jacuzzis to rustic
style huts.
To get there: from Cancun International
Airport take coastal highway toward Tulum and then you will see the sign
Puerto Morelos . The town is in the north of "Riviera Maya".

Itza, Akumal and Valladolid.
